Stretch Marks

Stretch Marks is about life; it’s about the baby steps we take toward becoming who we are. It is a one-woman show about infinite possibilities and ultimately choosing one. Conceived by a true story and delivered by hip hop, Stretch Marks is about having a baby, being born, what we are born into, the circumstances of our birth, and the legacies we inherit. This is a play that jams not on the ancient Greek philosopher's favorite cerebral cipher, "What is the meaning of life?", but instead politics, "What does it mean to be alive?" Stretch Marks is directed by Florinda Bryant from Austin, TX, a multidisciplinary artist.
